' ' 'About Pacifica' ' '
The Pacifica Foundation is a non-profit organization that owns FM Stations in New York (WBAI, 99.5), Washington, DC (WPFW, 89.3), Houston, Texas (KPFT, 90.1), Los Angeles, California (KPFK, 90.7) and Berkeley, California (KPFA, 94.1).
It also has more than 150 Community Radio affiliates in cities and towns all over the world. (You can see the list and locations at Pacifica Network.)
The Pacifica Foundation (and all five stations) are supported by listener donations. Listeners who donate the minimum amount per year ($25.00) become members of the Foundation and are entitled to vote for board members.
